Poplin Fabric
Poplin is a fine woven type of canvas fabric. It was the mean weaving type for silk garments in the past, before it was later replaced by cotton and polyester fibers. The weaving is just the typical cross weave plain type. Poplin is usually very popular for shirts and other garments which need to be ironed, because they are made not to wrinkle easily.
